The property was spotless, the facilities had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable garden was amazing. Dogs were catered for and a lovely welcome with teacakes and caramel bars left ready for our arrival. Cannot fault and will definitely be returning to this property.

Newly refurbished historic 18th century cottage. Queen Elizabeth forest park, Loch Lomond, Stirling and the Southern Highlands all within a 20 minute drive. Edinburgh and Glasgow less than an hour away by car. Great location base for food lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The village has a well stocked shop, a pottery shop with cafe, an Indian takeaway and pub which serves good homemade food. Pet friendly. Host can recommend hillwalking routes nearby and will happily lead walks on request.
