The open-plan living area invites you to unwind with a book or enjoy your favourite series on the Smart TV, all while staying cosy by the log burner. The dining area, which is raised a few steps, offers a spacious setting for meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle your culinary ventures, from morning coffee with the Nespresso machine to a homemade dinner prepared with our electric oven and induction hob. A washer/dryer is also available. Upstairs, the accommodation comprises a flexible super king bedroom that can also be set up as twins beds.

Nestled on a hillside position, upon arrival you will see the fantastic views that Beech Cottage has over the Derwent Valley, the Peak District itself with the Chatsworth estate in the distance. There is so much to do in this area with lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy in Matlock, which also has a handy railway station. The property is just a short drive from the pretty market town of Bakewell with its many shops and cafes that offers a great place for a gentle stroll. During November Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall have fabulous Christmas markets and other events throughout the year. A car is recommended to fully enjoy and explore the local area.
