Only a two minute drive from the cottage. Walkington itself is a small picturesque village with its lovely duck pond. The village has three welcoming pubs as well as a local shop and post office. The area is on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and is the ideal location for many attractions, including Hull , the recent City of Culture. York with its historical sites, Leeds for shopping and nightlife and finally the beautiful Yorkshire coast with its many towns and beaches This property is a charming detached period cottage with woodern floors throughout, set in the middle of the village.
