The house is a unique, cotswold stone property, about 150 years old, with panoramic views of the surrounding areas. Easy access to varied local walks, commons, pubs, the Stroudwater Canal & Stroud, with it's award winning Farmers' Market. It has just been lovingly, extensively renovated. All the rooms have amazing views & the kitchen leads onto a terraced garden, with an area to play boules. Dogs welcome, by arrangement please. Access by meet & greet or key safe. Off road parking for 2 cars.
I love meeting my guests when they come to stay, so you can let yourselves in via the key safe then I'll pop round just to say Hi when convenient. I am generally on hand to help if any problems occur during your stay or if you have any questions, I will forward my mobile number just before your stay.
Set in one of Stroud’s 5 valleys: The Golden Valley. The area is a patchwork of historic and contemporary activity with Cotswold stone houses, cottages and walls, converted mills, canal, railway and grazing animals from llamas to sheep. There are many varied walks on nearby paths through fields, woods and on the great commons of Minchinhampton and Rodborough. The house is just a short drive to Stroud Railway Station, with easy access to towns such as Nailsworth, Cirencester, Tetbury, Berkeley & Cheltenham. I can easily provide details for local taxi companies & we are on a bus route.
