The Victorian seaside towns of Scarborough and Filey are a short drive away and Whitby with its' connections to Captain Cook and Dracula is 30 miles. The North Yorkshire Moors are an hour away and include the historic heritage North Yorkshire Moors railway and Goathland station, used in filming Harry Potter's Hogwarts station.
