Market town Hawes, North Yorkshire, is a major tourist destination in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is known as one of the park's honeypots. The town is ideally situated for exploring Wensleydale and the surrounding dales of Swaledale, Cotterdale, Dentdale, Garsdale, Wharfedale, and Chapel-le-Dale, as it sits between Buttertubs and Fleet Moss. The Hawes Town Trail, the Millennium Walk, the Pennine Way, or the nearby River Ure are all excellent options for a stroll.
