The whole experience at Elliott cottage was astounding - the hosts Steve and Hazel were wonderful and the cottage was one of the best properties I have stayed at. Fantastic.

Steve and Hazel Roche don't live at the cottages but are on hand during the day if you need them. Steve loves cycling and can often be found on his road bike exploring the Peak District National Park. Discounted tickets for attractions including Chatsworth House are available, so too is information about the local area.

Luxury Elliott Cottage sleeps four people and is part of the beautiful Wheeldon Trees Cottages retreat. Downstairs in the historic cottage you’ll find open plan living and upstairs there are two bedrooms – a super-king and a twin bedroom. Elliott Cottage has been painstakingly renovated to provide guests with everything they may need while away from home, whether this is a high chair or luxury White Company toiletries. The upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and outside of the cottage there is a private enclosed patio. Wheeldon Trees Cottages is a stunning retreat of 10 holiday cottages set in one of Derbyshire's most breathtaking valleys close to Buxton and Bakewell in the Peak District National Park. Alongside the 10 luxury cottages, there's an honesty shop packed with treats, superfast wifi, free electric vehicle charging, a children's play area, a laundry, free electric bike hire and 12 acres of Peak District National Park to enjoy.

Elliott Cottage is set in 12 acres of Peak District National Park on the outskirts of the village of Earl Sterndale. Close to both Buxton and Bakewell, the cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the National Park and everything the Peak District has to offer. There are two local pubs - the Royal Oak at Hurdlow and the Pack Horse Inn at Crowdecote. The cottage sits at the base of High Wheeldon and has views of the famous ParkhouseHill and Chrome Hill where scenes from Peaky Blinders were filmed.
