The apartment was spectacularly clean and quiet and in a great location. It had everything we needed and was a complete sanctuary in an otherwise busy town. The managers also went out of their way to help us with parking which was very much appreciated.

Jay's Bay is a contemporary holiday apartment in a prime location by the beach and close to all attractions. Designed by Jane Richards Interiors, comfort and relaxation has been the focus so you can realise your holiday from the moment you walk through the door. The entrance leads to a private courtyard with a stylish table and chairs, ideal for your morning coffee and alfresco dining. The apartment reveals a fully equipped kitchen including cooker & hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, fridge, dining table and chairs. Essential store cupboard ingredients are included. Following through the kitchen reveals a landing which leads to the bathroom with a large walk in shower with Italian Terrazzo tiling throughout. Fresh towels and toiletries are provided. The multifunctional living and bedroom area is accessed down a small flight of stairs The bedroom boasts a very comfortable Vi-Spring king size bed and Egyptian cotton bedding for the best nights sleep. Storage for clothing, a vanity area and hairdryer are also provided. The lounge area comprises of a comfortable leather sofa with cushions and throws and a coffee table. Flat screen HD TV with Sky, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Please do not book this apartment if you struggle with stairs or have impaired mobility.
I have been running my Interior Design business for the past thirty years which is based in Norwich and I have a showroom in the Norwich Lanes. I have designed many schemes for clients over the years but wanted to give myself a personal project which went beyond my own home which I could share with other people. The result being Jay’s Bay. We live in the main house and are on hand should you need anything. Our contact number is in your welcome letter on arrival.
Jay’s Bay is situated in a peaceful residential area with just a 3 minute walk to the sea front attractions and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our location is central to everything Great Yarmouth has to offer. From the apartment heading towards the beach, famously known as the Golden Mile, a right turn will take you to the commercial side of Great Yarmouth where you will find an array of restaurants, bars and cafes. Along this side of the sea front you will find the Pleasure Beach, the Sea Life Centre, the Time & Tide Museum and the Grosvenor Casino for those who like a flutter. One of our most famous attractions is the Hippodrome Circus which is only one of three in the world where the circus floor sinks into a pool and is a unique and major part of the show. Crazy Golf, Ice Cream Parlours, Horse and Carriage Rides, Joyland for the little ones and Britannia Pier will keep you entertained. For the quieter side of Great Yarmouth you will pass the Pub on the Prom and Arc Cinema, head towards the beach and turn left, you will find an array of beach cafes. The Venetian Waterways and gardens are beautiful and the Boating Lake has rowing boats and pedalo's to hire.
