The environment is absolutely clean and comfortable. The host is great and makes us feel welcomed. And she is also a Cordon Bleu trained chef. The breakfast with farm fresh ingredients is out of this world!

Recently extended, Field End House sits at the end of the delightfully named Strawberry Lane. With its beautiful gardens and extensive views over the surrounding Cotswold countryside. Field End House is tucked away in a tranquil corner of this bustling Cotswold village with its very own pub, The Masons Arms, a mere two minutes' stroll away. Perfect. Choose from the two comfortable bedrooms, one a king size mahogany sleight bed, the second a delightful twin. Ensuite showerrooms with walk-in power showers, heated towel rails and delicious ila spa toiletries. Goose down duvets and the finest quality Egyptian cotton linen and towels. Flat screen TV’s, fresh flowers, wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers Choose the Master Room, a huge double room with king sized mahogany sleigh bed. Charming and quirky with an interesting mix of antique and modern furnishings, it has the stunning views over the lovely garden at Field End House. As well as running her own catering business, Teresa has opened her home to bed and breakfast guests who she will look after with her own inimitable hospitality. A fabulous cook, Teresa also runs a very successful business called All Party Occasions and cooks for a variety of events large and small. Teresa has recently extended her beautiful home to include two spacious guest bedrooms with fabulous ensuite shower rooms. In house cuisine: Breakfast is entirely at the guests’ discretion – full English breakfast with locally sourced bacon and sausages, organic eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms, porridge, a choice of cereals, organic natural yoghurt, homemade jams and marmalades, fresh fruit and fruit juice, toast. Continental breakfast is also available and guests may request anything from kippers to creamy scrambled eggs with locally smoked salmon. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the dining hall, overlooking the garden and warmed by a fabulous wood burning stove. You can also relax with a cup of afternoon tea in the comfortable sitting room, where an open fire will be lit in chillier times where a flatscreen television. I have recently acquired a wire haired daschund puppy called Brillo.I also have another one who is 3 years old called Fig.
A picturesque, bustling South Cotswold village with a fabulous pub, The Masons Arms, with its varied and well-priced menu, at its centre. Meysey Hampton is surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is ideally placed for accessing all of the fabulous towns and villages of the South Cotswolds. The area abounds with National Trust houses and gardens and the famously Royal town of Tetbury with its plethora of interesting, independent shops. The vast runway of RAF Fairford sits hidden just a few fields away. Out of daily use, nowadays the base is just a standby and you may barely see or hear a plane come or go for most of the year, except for one long-weekend every July when things really take-off and RAF Fairford plays host to the Royal International Air Tattoo - the world's largest military air show. As it arrives, you can enjoy the speed and aero-acrobatics of the many national display teams including, of course, the Red Arrows, as well as jet-fighters, bi-planes and helicopters as they fly right overhead.
