The apartment is at the top of an 1879 detached Victorian property. The balcony overlooks the beach and the tidal pool where you can go for an early morning dip. This is an ideal location, as it's a 2 minute walk from Dreamland, 5 minute walk to the Old Town, whilst being well away from the hustle and bustle of the Margate holiday community. If you arrive by car there is plenty of free parking around the roads by the property and car park opposite. If you arrive by public transport; Train, Coach or Bus those stops are literally a 2 minute walk to the house. Opposite the house is a lovely beach venue made up of independent traders. There is a sundeck bar, where music is played throughout the day and up until 9pm. There are also restaurants and a bus café. A bar has just opened called the Shakespeare which is 100m down the road which has developed a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with great views over the sea, The areas is safe and all the Margate people are welcoming and friendly.
