The Studio at Frogmill is located adjacent to the main cottage and is a recent addition to our B&B accommodation - previous guests would know this as the Fingle Suite. Visitors desiring stylish accommodation with the flexibility of self catering will find this location just perfect. Approached by its own private driveway, the entrance is at ground level with a paved patio, garden area and views of the surrounding hills. This large, bright, airy room has a queen-size bed, Hungarian goose down duvet and high quality bed linen. The sitting area has a comfortable sofa, coffee/side tables and lamps, contemporary dining table and chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large combi/microwave oven, fridge with ice compartment, kettle, coffee pot and good range of china, glassware and cookware. Soft undercounter lighting provides lovely evening ambience. Good sized bathroom with bath/overhead shower, fluffy towels,bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.
Ken & Sue have owned Frogmill since 2011, running it as a B&B for most of that time. Now they have converted one of the B&B rooms into a luxurious studio self-catering apartment and hope it will attract the same positive feedback that have enjoyed over the past decade for the B&B
Frogmill is ideally situated for access to the best of England's beautiful West Country. It lies in a very quiet tranquil setting but only 20 minutes drive from the very popular city of Exeter and minutes away from glorious Dartmoor. Frogmill is an excellent base for exploring the West Country with easy access to the road network and most of the area accessible on day trips. The Exe, Teign and Dart rivers and estuaries are a delight to explore along with the towns of Exmouth, Topsham and Dartmouth. To the North, Exmoor and the North Devon coast have a wild charm, while to the West the spectacular scenery and quaint villages along the North Cornish coast should not be missed; they are are only an hour’s drive from Frogmill. The picturesque towns and fishing villages along the South Devon and Cornish coast make an enjoyable day’s excursion which can also take in the Eden Project. We are within easy reach of a number of excellent National Trust and English Heritage properties.
