Gardeners Cottage is located on a working farm and sleeps 4 people.  The cottage is an ideal base for discover the northern lakes with a 1st floor mezzanine twin bedroom on the first floor that is suitable for children leading downstairs to the main accommodation where you will find a further double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, basin and WC.  The lounge has plenty of character with its beamed ceiling and lovely views over the garden with a feature inglenook fireplace with electric stove. Hesket Newmarket is a fell side village located almost mid-way between Carlisle and Keswick, ideally located to explore the Northern Lake District fells. The village has a traditional pub with its own micro-brewery, village shop and café overlooking the village green perfect for watching the world go by. Further facilities are available in the village of Caldbeck just 1 and a half miles away. The popular town of Keswick is a 45 minute drive away where you will find an abundance of activities to keep you entertained during your stay.
