Welcome to our spacious, light and cosy garden house, centrally located 4 mins stroll from town centre. The property has its own private entrance and off-road parking adjacent to the property Upstairs: 1 large double bed room and 1 small double bed on a mezzanine next to the bathroom. We are told the property suits, sold travellers, couples and the additional mezzanine suits friends staying together or family that has child / children. Downstairs: A large spacious, open plan living area with full fitted kitchen, dining table, sofa, chair and digital Flat screen TV, that looks out onto a patio with garden furniture. Outside: The property has its own patio with garden furniture. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, stocked with teas/coffees, milks and cooking essentials. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer The garden house is tranquil, modern and light and offers space to rest and relax. We live in the main house.
My name is Deborah, I have two adult children who are at university and a husband who is an author and lecturer of philosophy. I will be your host. I am interested in yoga, health and wellness and I work as a consultant, trainer, and therapist in the area's of wellness, treatments and skincare. When available I have appointments for restorative massage and aromatherapy facials. My husband Tim Freke is a author, lecturer of philosophy We aim to provide you with a wonderful place to enjoy your stay and we respect your space and you will not be disturbed, but if you do need any assistance I am very happy to assist.
We are located on a residential road very close to the town centre, around a 4/5 min stroll where there are many cafes, unique independant shops. The property and parking is off the road, down a small private lane. Famous sightseeing spots, such as Glastonbury Abbey, The Tor and Chalice Well Garden can easily be reached easlily on foot. A 10 min drive away are the city of Wells with its stunning cathedral and Clarks Village discount shopping outlet in Street. You can walk out onto the Somerset levels from our property. Shapwick Nature Reserve and Ham Wall Bird Sanctuary are a short drive away. Castle Cary is our nearest train station about 25 min away by car, it connects to London Paddington and through Devon and Cornwall to Penzance. There is bus transport 376 direct to Bristol City Centre and then onto the Bristol Airport, this journey is around 1.30 mins.
