Company info

We are Fiona & Andy. We own and run Glengoulandie Camping Caravanning and live in the cottage on the site. We have been fanatical tourers for more than 15 years and our style and personal touches reflect an amalgamation of all the good things we have liked about the hundreds of sites we have visited – as well as bringing a few unique features of our own. We have a hands-on approach and take pride in the site – ensuring a homely but professional feel. We have an eco-friendly ethos and encourage visitors to recycle as much waste as humanly possible. The site operates a bio-waste sewage system. We are extremely laid back and easy-going and will do anything we can to ensure you enjoy your stay and have all your needs catered for.

Our Shepherd's Hut is located on one of our most popular pitches and has amazing views of the hills and the deer park. It is right next to the flowing burn and has a panoramic decking area. All you will need for a relaxing break in the Scottish Highlands. Our Shepherd’s Hut sleeps two people. It is a quirky, characterful accommodation unit that allows you to enjoy all the good stuff about camping - and being in the great outdoors - whilst having a solid, insulated place to sleep and some of the comforts of home - including electric lighting/sockets, heater, kettle, sink, twin hob and sofa bed. Guests should bring their own towels, duvets, pillows or sleeping bags as well as any kitchen utensils, plates, bowls & camping equipment you may need as these are not provided. Toilet and shower facilities are provided in our main amenity building.

It is surrounded by areas of the Tay Forest Park and situated almost equidistant between the Cairngorms and the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Parks. There are an abundance of walks in the area - including many of the Munros. Dun Coillich towers over Glengoulandie and hosts many waymarked walks - some of which lead directly to Schiehallion. The Ben Lawers Loop also starts just 30 minutes drive away. The nearby town of Aberfeldy provides a wide range of amenities including shops, eateries and tourist attractions. These include Castle Menzies, The Birks of Aberfeldy and Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery. The renowned towns of Pitlochry and Blair Atholl are also within easy reach.
