Really nice Shepherds hut with lots of amenities and a fabulous decking, spa pool and river bank. Fantastic
Butt Lodge is a family run Guest House set in Lochranza. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Lochranza ferry terminal is 2 km away and Brodick ferry terminal is 23 km away.
Very quaint small town, not crowded. Not a lot of choice for places to eat, or grocery stores, but sufficient enough. The natural beauty of the area and lack of crowds more than makes up for any shortfalls, and with an easy and short bus ride over to Brodick, your choices double with more restaurants and things to do, though a little more crowded than Lamlash. Be prepared to do a bit of walking to get anywhere in Lamlash, particularly if you stay at someplace like the Arran Sleep huts, as they are nearly at the far end of the town, and are about 10 minutes to the nearest bus stop for Brodick.

Lamlash, although a small village had stunning views to Holy Isle, a small supermarket, a couple of pubs serving food, (The Drift Inn), good bus service connecting to Brodick as well as option to travel to the Holy Isle by boat. The Coast Discovery Centre is free to visit and the Arran Coastal path passes through either to Whiting Bay or to Brodick.

Lamlash is the prettiest village on Arran, with the most beautiful views.
There are charming art & craft shops, lovely cafes with home baking and the ferry over to Holy Isle goes from the pier.
The Lamlash Bay hotel serve delicious evening meals. There are other bars & restaurants as an alternative.
Buses go through the village in either direction, so it's easy to get around the island from here (get a timetable).

Lamlash is a lovely village - 10mn bus from Brodick/ferry terminal - with some nice little shops and beaches from where you can admire the Holy Isle and also some seals who seem to love the area!
Few restaurants and a Co-op (supermarket) and the people there are very welcoming.
Extremely clean, Covid friendly, room 2 big and spacious. breakfast and evening meal beautiful. staff so nice and helpful. Our ferry was cancelled on our day we were meant to be going home due to high winds but the owner kept us our room and booked us in for breakfast and dinner as well. Perfect surroundings, on the water, pubs nearby and other restaurants as well (but my advice is eat at the hotel as it’s delicious and have drinks in the hotel pub as it’s gorgeous). Also a co-op is right next door if u want some goodies in ur room.
This venue was quite special, right on the water looking out at the Holy Isle and in walking distance to a lovely cafe (The Old Pier Tearoom), pubs and shops in Lamlash. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and made sure we knew everything we needed to book the ferry to Arran for instance, really felt like they went out of their way to provide a great experience. The apartment itself was well stocked and sparkling clean with great views without even leaving the front door!
We had a fantastic stay with the glen isle hotel. We were moved into a different accommodation lodge upon arrival and it was perfect for us and our dog - super comfy, warm, had everything we needed. We had to extend our stay as the ferry broke down and left us stranded, luckily there was a cancellation so we could extend our stay here - we were super grateful and had a fantastic time. The free breakfast was a great bonus and they offered fab choices for vegans.
Great location, beautiful room, delicious home made breakfast and an absolutely amazing host! With sustainability at the forefront of this guest house operation, Emily has covered all bases! This, combined with the home-made “squirrel” shortbread biscuits and other little treats, makes this guest house a great place to stay in Lamlash. In short, this is a GREAT guest house. Well done Emily!
Jules and Carol were extremely welcoming. On arrival Jules made us a lovely coffee and we relaxed on the hotel's balcony. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of options and extremely tasty food. Fruit and fruit bars in the room too. You won't go hungry. If you do feel the need for more, try the vegan sausage roll from across the road.
Great location with even better views. The Sleep Huts are perfect for hikers and cyclists who only need accommodation to sleep. It's basic but has everything you need. The communal cook house is very nice and spacious for any cooking needs. I would definitely return to sleep huts next time I'm in lamlash.
Perfect location in a quiet part of Lamlash. Beautiful sea views. 15 mins from Brodick. The hosts provided everything to make. Full cooking facilities, smart Tv, down to details like Elastoplast, tea coffee fresh milk, laundry liquid. Too many to mention. Also friendly advice
Breakfast not applicable as self catering but location fantastic and would definitely book here again. The owner was very helpful and her property was perfect for what we wanted. we have stayed at Lamlash many times and by far, this was the best house we have booked.
Brilliant stay at Monamore Guest House, couldn't fault a thing. Homemade shortbread & tablet in the room was a lovely wee touch. Located in a great location within walking distance to Lamlash with a couple of greats pubs & restaurants. We will definitely be back!
Lovely flat, and a handy location in Lamlash. Nice job on the decor, lots of nice touches throughout.
Clean and very comfortable.
Easy check in, good instructions, and lots and lots and good quality local information of where to go and how to get around.
we really lucked in with both The Mail Barn Studio and Lamlash - definitely the best beach to stay on the isle and the accommodaton was cosy and comfy. Could easily live there myself with very few changes but as a airbnb style booking it was spot on
Great location in Lamlash with views over to the Holy Isle. Bike rack at the rear of the hotel to secure bikes. Big kitchen which has been recently renovated with everything you need. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Very good value for money.
we stayed here for 3 nights. The property was very clean and had everything we required. Great location on the shore road and right next door to The Lamlash Bay hotel and 2 minutes walk to the shop for food.
Very lovely hotel, food was very lovely and the staff were very lovely! Especially the lady who gave us a free bottle of Prosecco to celebrate me and my partners engagement!
