A proper home from home experience - but cleaner and much warmer! We had two named storms during our stay and although we could hear it raging outside, we were still lovely and snug inside. Our house cat came with us too; he loved watching the wildlife whilst sitting at the massive window. Plus taking his daily strolls around the huge garden.

Graig Gwyn Cottage is a stone-built property resting on the outskirts of Trefonen. It houses two king-size double bedrooms which are serviced by a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC, sleeping up to four people. On the ground floor you will find a kitchen and a sitting/diner with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is ample off-road parking, a private patio area with table and chairs and use of a large lawn area. Graig Gwyn Cottage is a superb base for exploring this wonderful Shropshire location. Please note there is a charge to use the car charger, payable directly to the property owner. Please call the property owner ahead of your stay to arrange this.

Neighborhood info

Trefonen rests on the edge of the town of Oswestry and the Welsh village of Llanhaeadr-ym-Mochnant. Within in the small rural village you will find a pub, shop and has Offa's Dyke pathway running through. Within the surrounding area you will find the Berwyn Mountain Range and a number of walking and cycling routes which includes Berwyn Ridge Pathway and the Offa’s Dyke Path.
