From Lyme Regis, through Charmouth to Bridport and West Bay and the beautiful surrounding towns and villages, whether you desire a beach day or maybe a walk with the family or dog to Golden Cap, the highest point on the South Coast the area offers a variety of options for your ideal stay in Devon or Dorset.

The property provides a characterful family holiday home that includes a small tower housing a "lookout study" with delightful views around the local countryside. Large gardens surrounding the house include lawns and a wooded area. A small, open stream borders one side of the garden so care must be exercised with young children. The village has a couple of pubs & shops. The unspoiled beach at Seatown is only about 10 minutes walk away. Please note: A maximum of three dogs are accepted. Dogs are charged each per week (or part week). GROUND FLOOR Kitchen/breakfast room, Cosy lounge with woodburner, Dining room, Bed 1: Twin beds', Bathroom: Bath, w.c. Small study/turret room - up open stairs from first floor. Off-road parking for 2-3 cars, Travel cot (no linen) and highchair included. Linen and towels included - beds made-up.

The Dorset village of Chideock is located on the main A35 between Bridport and Lyme Regis. The World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and Seatown, with its excellent pub The Anchor Inn, are less than a mile away and there are plenty of walks to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, both to the coastline, along the coastal path to Golden Cap, and inland amongst the thatched cottages and farmland that surround the village. Chideock also has a couple of pubs, the George Inn & The Clock Inn, as well as two small shops including a farm shop.
