It was a little piece of paradise! It had everything we needed and the bed was so comfy-had a great night's sleep. Wonderful views and garden.The hot tub was so relaxing too. Will definitely be back!

Brilliant little retreat with everything you’d need for a short break. The kitchen area was fitted out with a micro wave, toast , kettle and stove top so we could prepare meals at night. Stunning views first thing in the morning and late at night. The hot tub was brilliant and added that little treat we needed. Brilliant setup and worth every penny.

This little gem has so much character and is absolutely perfect for a relaxing staycation with beautiful views. Really enjoyed sitting inside the warm cabin with a glass of wine looking outside the large windows at the wildlife. And then as the sun set putting on the magical outside lights and relaxing in the hot tub. 11/10

We had so much fun in the hot tub, watching the beautiful view. The bed was soooo comfy - the nicest mattress ever! Well equipped with thoughtful details like a a telescope to look at the lovely view more closely. We only used the kitchen to heat up home-made food which we'd brought with us. Not sure how easy it'd be to cook something from scratch, though. We loved watching the rabbits running around in the field just behind the lodge. It's located close to the family home, but far enough away and down a ledge that you feel like you're completely alone with total privacy. Really quiet and peaceful location. We travelled by train to Chesterfield and got a taxi from there for about £18. The 'What Three Words' directions provided were helpful and necessary to find it. Great host communication. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The lodge had everything we needed for a perfect break away. We stayed on Boxing Day and there were Christmas lights and a little tree to make it extra special. Great communication, and excellent facilities. We loved it and would love to return.

This is such a quaint and lovely thought out space, that let's you enjoy views and relax in nature! The isolation and peacefulness are the reasons to visit. Also, an unexpected appearance of a couple of dozen inquisitive cows made breakfast memorable!!! 🐄

The lodge is beautiful. It’s certainly exceeded our expectations!! Hosts are lovely and very knowledgable, we didn’t leave the lodge once we arrived, took plenty of drinks and food with us and relaxed in the hot tub with stunning views, roll on the next visit!!

Peter is a very friendly host and happy to help. The location of the lodge is very beautiful, which you can enjoy from big glass windows and the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it too.
