The location is really good, only a few mins walk to bus stops, local shops, even the hospital. It took me around 20 mins to walk into town, if you fancy looking at the older buildings in the surrounding areas, I would recommend it.

We stayed in one of the cottages owned by The Little John for 2 nights. It was really homely and comfortable. The staff were friendly, fun and welcoming. The Little John is a great pub with good food. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay there again. Hathersage is a lovely quaint village.
