Sandgate was the most searched for air b and b place in the uk in 2021. There is alot to see and do here with Sandgate being the perfect place to have a base and see Folkestone and the surrounding areas. There is a bus a few minutes walk which can take you into Folkestone, hythe and dungeness. You can cycle all the way from Sandgate to Folkestone past the leas, using my 2 bikes. There are some great works of art and brightly coloured beach huts. There are cafes on the way and the wonderful mermaid beach. With the lovely little rock restaurant and pilot for coffee or drinks on the way, sit in a wurlitzer beside the palm trees, you could be on holiday..oh actually you are! Nearby there is sunny sands a beautiful sandy beach. Your near town and the creative Quarter Folkestone area of town for more cool shops including vintage and hand made....if you have energy left there is The Warren with its gorgeous sandy bays, a trek if your on a bike with a windey pathway.
