EVERYTHING!!! The location was picturesque, and the facilities were impeccable with everything catered for. There was a welcome pack of crisps, chocolate, and milk. The Bell tent had tea, coffee and sugar available with a cool box, cooking facilities in terms of an oven incorporated within the log burner, and a BBQ fire pit outside (with all cooking utensils available at the property). The bed was both comfortable and warm with quality bedding and an electric blanket. The hosts were welcoming and available for any enquiries. I can not praise this place enough.

A luxuriously appointed emperor bell tent, nestling on the cusp of the beautiful Peak District National Park. Hope Cottage Retreat provides exclusive off-grid use for 2 people, in the private grounds of our 100 year old Hope Cottage. Your accommodation is set in 1 acre of stunning grassland, bordered by an orchard to the rear and the glorious River Dove to the front, with magnificent views across the valley. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars.
Kerry is an experienced host, who has been a Superhost on other platforms for the last 3 years consecutively.
From its tranquil rural location, it is hard to believe that we are still only a 5 minute drive from the picturesque and stylish market town of Ashbourne, boasting all local amenities, antique shops, boutiques and giftwares; or maybe a thrill is in order and visit the fabulous Alton Towers, only 20 minutes away. There is a pub and shops within walking distance and a bus stop only a short walk away. We are located 15 minutes from Alton Towers. Things to do nearby – • Visit the Peak District for spectacular scenery, caving, pot holing, climbing, flying, and hang gliding. • Hire a bike and visit the many trails in the area where you are in the midst of the countryside and safe from any traffic. • Chatsworth House, KedlestonHall ,Tissington Hall and many more houses and country estates of significance. • Uttoxeter Racecourse – 25 mins away. • Go-ape – 30 mins away. • Carsington Water – offers canoeing, windsurfing and sailing as well as many other facilities to enjoy including cycling and rambling – 15 mins away • The Heights of Abraham – Cable cars, Caverns and Hilltop Park. 30 mins away
