Martin, the owner, has gone to great lengths to create a unique holiday let. We were impressed by the quality of the kitchen and its appliances. His handbook made very interesting reading explaining how he had refurbished the property. The heating system is very effective, particularly welcome on a chilly winter's afternoon.

With an interior designed and built by its artist owner, the Sunday Schoolroom of this 19th century chapel is a haven of delight and surprise. Deep in the quiet Dorset countryside, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy, to escape from the cares of a busy life.
I've always been involved in picture making, currently print-making. In between, it's been working on this place, which has taken an absolute age. I really hope people like this self-contained space. Here to help. Available on my mobile.
We're located in some of the most beautiful countryside in a tiny village of less than 200 souls. There are two pubs within walking distance (30 and 45 minutes) for lunches and evening meals. It's dark at night and you can see the stars. Dorset has hill forts with amazing views, great beaches, ancient woodland, rolling chalk hills and a deep ancient history. Here, you are in the sticks. There is a daily bus and that's it! Plenty of walks around but realistically you'll need your own transport to get around. Sherborne, a town of beguiling charm, is 15 minutes away with a thousand-year-old abbey. To the south, Dorchester our county town, also 15 minutes away, reached via an old Roman road with stunning views for miles. Or, go to Yetminster railway station (five miles west) and you signal for the train to stop for you! Takes you onwards to Weymouth.
