Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast with home made bread. Welsh cake and Shortcake in our room. Very quiet rural location with very good views. Our room had extra seating, fridge, microwave, cutlery and plates which is more then a normal B&B. This gave us flexibility as you can also order in a takeaway. Good on site parking. Good location for visiting castle, the Welsh botanical gardens and walking. Did I mention the fantastic breakfast. Will be back again.

The traditional farmhouse overlooks the ancient town of Kidwelly with its magnificent castle and church. It has fabulous views of the countryside and nearby coast spanning from Tenby in the west to the Gower Peninsular in the east. It is ideally situated to explore the many attractions Carmarthenshire has to offer -castles, beaches, gardens, walks, cycling, golf courses and old market towns. The farmhouse is 180 years old with inglenook fireplaces and open beams, with the bedrooms having the most spectacular. The bedrooms are family sized with superking size beds, single beds, comfy chairs and sofas and ensuite bathrooms. They have all you need for your stay with stunning traditional Welsh blankets on the beds. Y Bwthyn is a luxurious barn conversion alongside the farmhouse with two bedrooms, one superking size and one twin, both with en-suite bath/shower room. A warm welcome awaits guests with excellent home cooking. Visitors can wake up to the smell of a real farm breakfast, all made from local produce. There is a large garden and play area for children with several footpaths leading from the farm. The Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire National parks are within easy distance
