This renowned hotel features one of the most breathtaking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands. Everything, from our arrival the staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel was amazing and what a view. Food was excellent and, breakfast was only improved by enjoying it on the terrace overlooking the rugged Cardigan Bay. We would definitely recommend The Cliff Hotel and look forward to a return stay.

The Angel Hotel offers stylish and comfortable surroundings through the first and second floors. Staff went the extra mile as I arrived too early to check in and was going to a wedding at another venue. Staff kindly drove to other venue and left a key for me so I could check in later. Gwbert Hotel, Flambards Hotel & Tearoom, and The Cliff Hotel & Spa got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Cardigan.
Nice little town, but it is only small so there is a limit to the food offering, which is fine, however I did meet tourists who were expecting more choice. Easy access to some lovely beaches even in October really nice to visit.
A compact town with quite a few independent shops. The High Street was closed to vehicles in the day which made for a safe shopping environment, although I believe this is causing major issues for local residents. Went on the £5 boat trip from the Quay by the Castle. A picturesque journey down the river offering lovely views and narrative of the area. The view of Cardigan from the river is lovely. Also went to the nearby wool museum which was excellent. Loads jof great countryside and coastal walks.
We stayed in Gwbert about 3 miles from Cardigan which was ideal as great views on the estuary and bay but with the town facilities nearby. Easy parking in Cardigan with plenty of refreshment opportunities.
A lovely small town next to a river. Great for browsing and plenty of coffee shops, banks and cash machines if you need them and a couple of quaint but small shopping malls. People were very friendly in the shops we went in. It was fairly easy to park. There is a cheap(£5) river trip advertised near to the Castle although I don't know hoe often it runs. We saw a lovely modern bistro in the Castle walls which we would try on another occasion. New Quay is not far away by car and is a lovely quaint harbour running seal and dolphin boat trips with some lovely cafes close to the harbour.
Cardigan was a great base but prepare for evening meals before going. Most eateries close at 6pm or earlier and not open on some days at all. Therefore the few open places get booked up. Check out Shampan Indian if you like a curry.
Good clean town facilities good. Plenty to visit St Dogmaels Abbey, river and sea trips. Beaches outstanding, marine wild life interesting. Food and catering excellent. Churches good services especially Newlife Church very welcoming. People very friendly and accommodating. Easy to travel other beautiful places 🙌😍
Cardigan
Travelling through South Wales so only stayed one night but would return and recommend. Hotel is exceptionally beautiful, what a treat to find this place. Our room was stunning and I could have lived in the spacious bathroom! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The view amazing, overlooking the gardens. Beautifully prepared breakfast and locally sourced food in the dining room listening to relaxing music. A perfect base to visit Cardigan and some of the amazing beaches which are unspoiled.
Cardigan
The place was in an excellent location, situated in lovely grounds at the edge of the town centre. The room and bathroom were big, modern, tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was served in an adjoining building and was of excellent quality. The dining room overlooked the Teifi river on one side and the Castle grounds on the other. Staying at the accommodation entitled you to free entry into the Castle and grounds, which was a bonus.
Cardigan
This is an individual style of property, literally a stone's throw away from the town centre and with easy access to public parking nearby (also limited property owned parking). It has a great historical feel whilst being equipped to a very high standard. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden area and our own boutique style private seating area.
Cardigan
The location is superb for walking, exploring the coast, exploring the countryside and historic areas. Very quiet and beautiful. The hostess is the kindest, most accomodating person, with many good suggestions of activities. The breakfasts and dinners are superb. It is absolutely the best booking.com lodging we have ever stayed in.
The hotel is ideally situated in Cardigan town centre. Last year breakfast and evening meals were taken downstairs. This year breakfast was served in a splendid room on the second floor. Covid requirements were adequately dealt with. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cardigan
The room was modern, comfortable and clean. Good location, close to town centre with free car park nearby, although there were no spaces in it until around 5pm most days.
The night staff were very helpful and extremely patient when we turned up very merry from a wedding and couldn't work out how to get into the hotel!

We had a great stay here, Had a lovely warm welcome on our arrival which went a long way. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The photos on the booking site don't do the cottage the justice it deserves. This was a weekend away from it all and it ticked all the boxes. We had the best 2 nights sleep in a long time. The log burner made a night in feel so cosy. The whole weekend was so peaceful and relaxing from start to finish. Can't recommend a stay here high enough, it was the best weekend away we have had in a long time. Thanks for an amazing stay, We look forward to seeing you again soon,
