Kingfisher Cottage is a stone built, sympathetically renovated stone farm building. Attached to Swallow Cottage but totally independent. Thoughtfully renovated to allow clever spaces to ensure comfort and practicality. It boasts two bedrooms both of which can either be made up as King beds or twins and are made up with cotton linen for your arrival. The bathroom has been completely refitted with over head fitted large round shower head with additional portable shower head over a well fitted steel bath. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your catering needs should you wish to cater for your family/guests during your stay. Installed washer/drier for your convenience. There are plenty of spaces for alfresco dining, either on the patio just outside or take advantage or the beautiful, fairy lit Secret Garden which allows plenty of space for a BBQ, Fire Pit and a a good old fashioned kick about. Plenty of safe off road parking.

Swallow Cottage at Duffryn Mawr is located down a country lane offering countryside peace and quiet. However, we are also ideally situated to go out and about visiting the sites. The quaint market town of Cowbridge with its array of shops and eateries is just a 15 minute drive or head over to the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff and Cardiff Bay. Museums and castles are in abundance around South Wales as well as other historical sites. For the active guests we have plenty of challenging or not so challenging golf courses in the area or you could pony trek on Ogmore Beach. Paint balling is available just the other side of Cowbridge or just relax and enjoy woodland walks around Pyscodlin Lake or long lazy walks along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
