The cottage is more than 100 years old. The original structure was built in the 1890s. Back in the day, it was the old post office. This unique place has a style all its own. Beautifully decorated in a rustic and industrial style, then finished with countless hidden gems for you to discover during your stay. Whether you choose a cozy night in front of the TV or a more social evening in front of the gorgeous Dowling wood burner, you are sure to have a romantic and relaxing stay.
Having spent many years travelling and staying in every conceivable type of accommodation, I tried to bring together all the small elements that I would want and enjoy during a cottage stay.
A small rural village in South West Scotland that has little changed for generations. The entire local area is an ideal getaway to refresh the mind and relax the usual stresses away.
