Light and Airy Detached Annex 2 Minutes Walk From Stowmarket Train Station (1.20mins to London Liverpool Street Station). At the rear of our Georgian house, built in 1864, we have a converted stables, a 1 bedroom detached annex. There is also another sofa bed for guests or children. Trains for London, Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough and Ipswich are a 2 min walk away and you can also walk to Stowmarket town centre in 10 minutes. Cafes & country walks from your doorstep!
Hello there follow travel enthusiast! I am a mum of three who has moved from San Francisco to Stowmarket (Long Story!) I love to host people and we've had visitors from all over the world, plus a lot of more local people who are visiting family or attending weddings in the area. I love our little town of Stowmarket because everything is walking distance, it has enough shops and little cafes for a wonder around town, but the country-side also comes right into town. The Museum of East Anglian Life is an incredible asset to the town. I've had a 10 + year career in tech, I am a journalist, entrepreneur and marketing professional, married to an American/Turkish. I LOVE to travel - absolute favourite thing in the world, my goal to get to every country by the day I die! My Husband and I would love to host you and we've just got a new Ikea mattress - we've been told the bed is super comfy. Feel free to knock on our door if you need anything!
Location, Location, Location! There are a number of great coffee shops and attractions In Stowmarket (10 min walk) including The Museum Of East Anglian Life, The Stowmarket Tennis Club, Everyone Active (Climbing wall, swimming pool, playworld for kids and exercise classes). Stowmarket also has a Prezzo, Costa and some beautiful independent shops. You can also be immersed in beautiful Suffolk countryside a short walk from your accommodation, one of our favourite country walks is along the River Gipping to Needham Market. 2 Minute walk to Stowmarket Train Station with connections to London Liverpool Street (1.20mins) Norwich (20 Mins) Ipswich (15 Mins) Cambridge (50 mins) and Peterborough. There is also a bus stop right by the train station with buses to Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Felixstowe. The nearest seaside town is Felixstowe - a 30 min drive away or Southwold 1 hour drive. We are situated 5 mins from the A14.
