Company info

'Meikle Ferry Station' was formed in late 2016 to redevelop the former railway station and accommodation areas. Previously it was know as the Dornoch Bridge Inn. Due to a number of delays, it has meant the company has only been able to start trading from August 2021. Meikle Ferry Station comprises a Cafe/Restaurant, 2 bedroom Flat, 4 bedroom bungalow and a retail area which is still under development. The Cafe/Restaurant opened on 23rd August and provides a varied menu of locally sourced foods. Homemade cakes and tray bakes are a popular feature.

'Linne Lodge' is a recently modernised 4 bedroom bungalow, comfortably sleeping 8. It is conveniently situated on the NC500 route between the historic communities of Tain and Dornoch, adjacent to Meikle Ferry Station (Cafe/Restaurant). Close by there are opportunities for many activities such as Golfing, Hill Walking, Fishing, Cycling, Canoeing, Visiting Historic sites etc. The award winning Dornoch Beach is a short drive away. Inside the property it is bright and airy, with the living room boasting a 'Cathedral' ceiling. From here patio doors lead out onto the large decking area which catches the Sun all day long. A new kitchen has been fitted, providing everything required for a comfortable stay. The Property also has private off-road parking

Neighborhood info

Meikle Ferry is located close to the Royal Burgh's of Dornoch and Tain. Both these communities are steeped in History and boast some wonderful architecture. Dornoch and Tain are well served with popular dining establishments, and our own Cafe/Restaurant is located just next door to Linne Lodge.
