Spotless clean room, friendly host, great location on shore of Loch Goil but since we only stayed one night we didn’t have enough time to appreciate the beautiful deck and view!

The guest house is located in an amazingly beautiful location: Loch Goil. The view from the place is wonderful. The house is a nice building offering access to a lovely living room and a charming dining room. Our room was small, but comfortable with a fantastic view of the sea lake. The staff at the guest house were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property- both the house and the surrounding area! There house is in a very peaceful area - right on a sea Loch with opportunity for wildlife viewing. The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious- guests have use of a common living room as well as a common lakeside cabin. The guest rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts are so proud of their property (rightfully so, they worked hard to make it so beautiful!) and give a tour once you arrive, and are available to give local tips and suggestions whenever you need. we felt right at home and so welcomed into their guesthouse! Breakfast was delicious and very filling, all in all, a wonderful stay!

Don & Lorraine were wonderful hosts! Not only did they provide us with everything needed to make our stay comfortable, including delicious breakfasts, Don guided us to hiking trails just across the street from the B&B which were fun. They also loaned us hiking poles and provided bug spray for the newly hatching midges. We visited Benmore Gardens at their suggestion, and spent a whole afternoon there, one of the four best gardens in all of Scotland. It was such a great way to spend our limited time in Lochgoil. Don and Lorraine have done a magnificent job restoring this house and grounds. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Don and Lorraine were excellent hosts from start to finish. They were really very welcoming, showed us around the property and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was fantastic and the choice was superb. The property is set in a beautiful location overlooking the Loch, and we had the pleasure of seeing red squirrels, grey seals and porpoise while we were there all from our bedroom window. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean and the rooms were large and comfortable. To be perfectly honest I couldn't fault anything at all. If you are thinking of visiting the area, this is the place to stay. If I could give Don and Lorraine 11 out of 10, I honesty would.

The breasfast was great- everything what we wanted. The location is FANTASTIC! And the service provided was amazing. Great wee places around the house, a bird coner, the cabin with fantastic veiw and comfortable chairs....

The property was lovely and clean. Very beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and lovely furniture. We stayed in the suite and can’t recommend this enough. It has a lovely bath feature within the suite also. The host was very pleasant and friendly and made some great recommendations for food and things nearby.

Location is stunning with lots of spaces to enjoy the views. Proprietor was helpful, but not intrusive. As a vegan it's great to stay somewhere where food is primarily vegan. Rooms clean, and very comfortable.

The caretaker Marcin was helpful and answered our many questions, and did his best to accommodate our needs. We got the bonus of the luxury suite with 2 bathrooms, one with a standing bath and about 20 cupboards! This extra bathroom/dressing room is actually a converted bedroom and currently not mentioned on the site, so good to ask if it's available when you're booking! While we didn't make use of the bath, we enjoyed the separate luxury shower. This big bonus for this accommodation was the breakfast, especially for us as vegans. When pine nuts are included in the cooked breaksfast in addition to a variety of plant based meat alternatives, as well as plant based milk and yoghurt offered as standard, you know you're onto a good thing. The surrounding grounds with the large cabin provide fantastic views of Loch Goil. And no midges at this time of year!
