It's indeed a spacious house, so comfortable with beautiful view. Was welcomed with a basket of goodies and fruits from the host. Kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking. Coffee and tea provided. Location was good to explore Skye. Highly recommend. Perfect for a group of friends/family.

Luib house is centrally situated by the roadside and at the foot of Glas Bheinn Mhor with breathtaking views over Loch Ainort from every bedroom. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and families. Guests have direct access to the shore which is less than a five minute walk. The house has the feel of a traditional croft cottage with all the amenities of the modern day. The house is semi-detached we live next door with our two Beagles. We work shifts so will be home at odd hours - you will be very much left in peace during your stay. The nearest village is Broadford which is a 10 minute drive and has a variety of shops and restaurants to enjoy.
Friendly, hard-working couple from the beautiful Isle of Skye. We have just finished the renovation of Luib House and would love for you to come and stay! Our interests include; the outdoors, adventure, animals and travel. Please not we live next door with our two super friendly Beagles and we have a strict no pets policy for guests. We are self check-in. Should you have any queries during your stay I shall leave my contact details on your arrival.
The entire village of Luib is situated right by the sea and surrounded by mountains and hiking trails. It is a quiet village with sheep and horses in the near by crofts. ;The old road at the back of the property is very peaceful and ideal for a sunset stroll. Luib is smack bang in the center of Skye so it is the perfect hub for exploring. We recommend that you have your own car but there are regular buses throughout the day. We have space for two cars to fit comfortably. A bus time-table will be located within the house along with a list of taxi numbers. There is no official bus stop but the bus stops at our car park if you are standing out waiting for it.
