Located in Dunvegan, 22 mi from Portree, The Tide features a garden and free WiFi. A Full English/Irish breakfast is available each morning at the bed and breakfast. Don’t know where to start…the whole stay from start to finish was just fantastic. The view from the bedroom was to die for and such a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. It was spotless, room and bed were so comfortable and the shower is on another level. The set up is perfect, especially given the current restrictions. Breakfast was superb and a fantastic view to sit and enjoy the morning from the dining room. Angie gave us a lovely warm welcome and her local knowledge is fanatic. Absolutely nothing negative to say at all.

Offering sea views, Skye Eco Bells is an Eco Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. The 3 Cabins are located in an off-grid site with individual fire pits and 2 acres of moorland and woodland gardens. Unique, detail-oriented, and loved the personal touches that Scott and Nadia provided.

Kilmuir Park offers accommodations in Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye. The rooms with attached bathroom come with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The property is definitely excellent. You can easily see or feel the thoughtful design of the room and the facilities provided/COVID arrangement. The breakfast is above superb. The bed is also super comfortable and soo big that you can roll a few arounds and still not falling off from it. The location might seem a little bit far from Portree on map but it definitely worth to stay there as there are some lovely restaurants nearby and cafe as well.

Offering free WiFi, Harlosh Log Cabin is set on the beachfront near Dunvegan. The property is 25 mi from Portree, and complimentary private parking is offered. Exceptionally well built and maintained cabin, full of little pretty touches and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, glasses and cutlery. The heater works very well too, and is able to maintain set temperature in the cabin. The location is just superb, very quiet, with your own seaside to enjoy, and facing west so you can enjoy the sunsets. We also felt very private, but the host (extremely welcoming and helpful) was only a text or a short walk away should we need any help. I like to explore different properties, but i will make an exception for the Isle of Skye with this magnificent cabin. Impossible to think of anything that could have been improved at the current cabin.

Lovely hosts will provide you not only with comfortable room, but you have there also a separate small closet to put your suitcases in. There is complimentary whiskey in the room. Everything spot clean. Breakfast is amazing with selection of fish, scottish breakfast, eggs. Loved the kipper! And the room where breakfast is served is the best with incredible views. Fresh made apple juice was simply amazing. Hosts are both very attentive, but not intrusive. They will help you to get around. This is simply the best B&B stay, we have ever done on our tours through Europe! Nice place for exploring Isle of Skye even given its location, near Portree.
Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .
Beautiful spot! The Dunvegan Castle was just down the road and must not be missed. The gardens are spectacular and the views amazing. The history of the castle is interesting and the tour around the inside was made more enjoyable because of the tour guides. We ate at several places. Most enjoying the Old School. The Dunvegan Hotel was also great food at a reasonable price. Local produce made this restaurant special. Always make sure you book a table well in advance or you may be disappointed. The Edinbane Inn does a fab Sunday Lunch and we also ate there one evening. 20 minute drive from Dunvegan but worth it.
Dunvegan is lovely, it has what you need for a short stay with shops and cafes etc. Lovely loch, a fine castle and The Stein Inn in Waternish will receive a Michelen Star, as the owner is Paul Rankin, book in advance for that one
Dunvegan has perfect location to explore the north of the island. MUST visit Neist Point Lighthouse and watch the setting sun from the cliffs. MUST visit the Castle and gardens...what a delight!!
The people, the food, the culture, the history. This little corner of a little corner of the world just transports you to a different time and place. Every view is full of natural beauty. We saw more waterfalls than we could count just while driving on main roads, in addition to the specific scenic ones we saw at specific viewpoints. Dunvegan Castle and the Talisker Distillery are must-see attractions. Also, The Old School restaurant is sublime, with excellent service and better food!
Cute little village , had a lovely evening meal at Old School restaurant and the village has all the main necessities. Only down side was we discovered theres no where to eat on a Saturday as they are closed !

Everything! The cottage is situated a 10-15 minute walk from centre of Dunvegan. Its spacious, with comfy beds and settee. Great tv and loved the wood burning stove. The view of McLeods table mountains from the front living room is spectacular. The kitchen is great plus the owner left some lovely brownies and biscuits, lovely touch after our long drive to Skye. Plenty of handwash and bathroom towels, and loo paper, the owner has thought of everything to enable us to have a super holiday. If only he could have made the weather better too alas!
Dunvegan
The rooms are adorable - up to date, clean and comfortable. Each also had a modern en suite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious but what made the stay was its proprietors - Ian and Christine were not only extremely helpful (sorted out taxis, quick with recommendations on what to do and where to eat nearby) but were also just simply delightful people to have a chat with. When I return to Skye, I will be back!

The owners were super friendly and happy to help with everything from sights to dinner plans. the location is just a short drive to Dunvegan castle or the coral beach. The roads were easy to drive and on site parking. I would recommend this location and would stay there again if I am every lucky enough to travel there again.
