United StatesThe views from the cabin were outstanding. The cabin itself was extremely clean, the bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was also surprisingly large, the kitchen was well stocked, the heating was perfect, and everything was very modern and yet looked rustic somehow!

United States10/10!! This place was perfect for my husband and I. Already dreaming of returning for another stay here. Incredibly kind host who thought of everything you could possible need during your stay. The little details were thoughtful and practicable. Communication was great and we felt very welcomed and right at home in this home away from home. Highly recommend. The location was perfectly remote and lovely, yet close enough to Dunvegan for anything you may need. We stayed in 5 different places during our travels through Scotland and this was our favorite by far!! Don’t hesitate on booking.

Terrific little village with plenty of charm.
Terrific little village with plenty of charm. Walkable itself. Great base for many beautiful places.
Due to a mishap with my calendar I missed eating at The Dunvegan Hotel. However, I enjoyed the dinners at Atholl House and the Old School restaurant.

The accommodations were amazing! The view was amazing!
The accommodations were amazing! The view was amazing! The castle and grounds were beautiful, easily accessible and admission was included with the price! The cafeteria was close and was great for a quick snack or lunch! Directions to the cottage were clear and instructions were very concise and helpful. The shortbread, coffee, cream and sugar were such a delicious surprise! Loved everything!

Dunvegan was quite central to travelling across Skye for our various planned activities - whisky tour, puffin tour, walking Quiraing, Fairy Pools and Old Man of Storr. The two shops had enough for the grocery essentials and there were several cafes and restaurants to provide choice. The castle was interesting though a bit pricey.

The town itself is nothing special, although it had several places to eat. I would recommend the school house restaurant only two doors away. Everywhere is a drive, but my experience was that each drive was a pleasure and all the key areas can be reached easily. Plan time to explore the north end of Skye...it's well worth it.
I was particularly interested in birding and photography, both of which are of high quality in the surrounding area. I did not have chance to visit the other attractions on offer such as the Castle, although I did call off at Talikser Whiskey distillery, which I felt was worth a visit. I feel for the best of Skye, go north.....

Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit. Very little traffic and easy to get around. Distances are deceiving because of the narrow windy roads - passing places are an experience!
We had a great lunch at The Three Chimneys just outside Duvegan

Surprisingly little there, used as a base for 3 nights, should really have done for 2. Dunvegan Castle nearby and worth a visit. Limited places to eat. Had to drive to get to anywhere including start of walks.

We could not have asked for a better place :) Cozy, clean, with everything you may need during your stay. The room is located on the second floor with a private modern bathroom and a separate lounge with a fridge, television, kettle and a coffee machine to start your mornings with a nice coffee. The homeowner is the loveliest and her two cats are extremely cute. Easy to reach and close to everything you may want to visit in the beautiful Isle of Skye. Highly recommended, we had the best and most relaxing time.

What really impressed us was our cabin was cosily heated for our arrival. The Other Wee Red Cabin was thoughtfully presented including such luxuries as a heated towel rail, basically everything provided for a very comfortable stay.
The view from the large feature window was simply stunning!
Would without qualification, highly recommend this very comfortable cabin for your stay on captivating Skye.

Lovely guest house and made really special by all the personal touches like home baked cookies,etc. from the two brilliant hosts. Breakfast was superb and set us up for busy days travelling around the island. Great restaurant next door with plenty of alternatives available nearby. Location very central to some of the main attractions on Skye.

A lovely little cottage we stayed in for two nights while visiting Skye. The house was such a cozy comfort to come back to after a long day of hiking and kept warm. Everything was clean and the shower hot! The host was kind to leave us breakfast food and milk and stocked with tea and coffee.
