Manor Lodge is an upside down detached property, set in the grounds of a manor house just two minutes stroll from the shops and restaurants of Kirkby Stephen. There are two ground floor bedrooms - a double and a twin - while the living accommodation is on the first floor, with a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The property has a balcony with chairs, perfect for sitting out on warm evenings. There is also off road parking for two cars. Ideally placed for enjoying the Lakes and the Dales alike, Manor Lodge makes a quality welcoming retreat for family, friends and couples alike. With a thriving local community and many traditional old dwellings, Kirkby Stephen boasts a large number of cobbled old yards, quaint corners and a pretty picnic area called 'Frank's Bridge' whilst just a mile from the town is the old railway station on the Settle to Carlisle Railway line. Visitors can enjoy many excellent walks and cycle routes nearby or explore the magnificent Howgill Fells and the majestic Pendragon Castle.
