The location was in a small village, narrow country lanes with passing spaces. We ate at home in the evening rather than negotiate the roads at night.

Mill House Barn is a dear little detached cottage converted from a barn in the tiny hamlet of Taw Green near the Devon village of South Tawton. The cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom with a bathroom. On the same level is an open plan living space with seating area with wood burning stove, dining area and kitchen. Outside is a shared lawn garden beside the River Taw with table and chairs and a bench. Just over a mile from the village, Mill House Barn is a lovely retreat for a couple to enjoy a holiday in Devon. Note: Babes in arms only due to proximity of the The wifi is only suitable for emails (not streaming) due to it being a data connection type.

Neighborhood info

The small village of Sticklepath lies along an old ridgeway path within the northern boundary of the Dartmoor National Park, and is home to a handful of shops, two traditional pubs serving good food and the fascinating Museum of Rural Industry
