A spectacular grade II listed Georgian home perched on the edge of the river Blackwater. Mill House is a large 5-bedroom property set within 1.5 acres of land. This unique property, which was once home to the workers of the attached Mill, has undergone careful restoration to create a charming home still retaining many of its original features. The accommodation comprises of 5 bedrooms, dining room, large kitchen, lounge, pool table and sunroom. The huge, private garden runs alongside the river where you will often see families of swans passing by. Located in Worthing, just outside of Dereham, it’s a superb base to enjoy the fabulous North Norfolk coast, which is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away, as well as some wonderful countryside right on your doorstep! Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome by prior agreement. Parking is available on the driveway.

Mill House set amongst unspoilt countryside, in the mid-Norfolk hamlet of Worthing near Dereham. Within a two-mile radius you’ll find shops, pubs serving a range of food and a Post Office. If you like walking you’ll find some great locations where you’ll be able to watch the birds, go fishing or simply wander around and take in the scenery. It’s a great base for exploring Norfolk, fantastic seaside destinations such as Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are approximately a 30-minute drive away. The market town of Dereham is just 5 miles away and there you’ll find a good range of shops, restaurants, and cafés. Also nearby is the city of Norwich, offering a little more hustle and bustle. From the famous Norwich market to the glorious cathedral and stunning grounds there are some wonderful parts of the city to take in the culture. Take a stroll down the Norwich lanes where you’ll find many independent shops and some great little boutique food stops, don’t forget to try out the Grosvenor Fish bar – their fish and chips are amazing!
