Everything!! What a beautiful boat. Spotlessly clean, everything you could think of was provided. Loads of logs, kindling and coal available. Most places I've been to provide you with a starter basket of logs then you buy your own, but not here. But the main reason I booked here was the location and wow 👌 it did not dissapoint. The pictures don't do justice to how close you are to the Kelpies, and watching them at night, changing colours from the comfort of the boat was magical. You are free to roam about all day and night if you want to. I'd recommend the tour of the inside of Duke. ( head down Kelpie ) it was very informative and makes you understand more what an amazing achievement these sculptures are. I would not hesitate to book Marigold again and hope to do so next year 😊

the location is simply stunning,theres not a lot in the immediate area,good walk to a local bar or restaurant but we knew that,we got some food in and just sat on the boat,to see the Kelpies at night changing colour with virtually no one else about was quite magical and worth every penny.the boat is quirky,comfortable,warm,loved the wood burner.it really did tick one off the list. thank you for a true life experience.

The location is fantastic and was the main reason for choosing the accommodation. The novelty of staying on a narrow boat will be fun for most people and seeing the kelpies lit up on an evening is magnificent. The log burner on an evening was very cosy. Communication with the owner was second to none.

It's a narrowboat moored at the base of The Kelpies. The front of the boat is 25m away from the base of the nearest Kelpie! It was a lovely quiet stay and very relaxing. A great base to get to the Falkirk Wheel too. We got a taxi there, and walked the canal path back to The Kelpies (only 4 miles) with a very relaxed pace it was only 1.5 hours. A beautiful walk too.
