This is a delightful chocolate box, cosy-up, Romantic cottage set in a charming friendly, peaceful non drive through village. The cottage has had recent renovation all newly decorated throughout . It has so much charm, warmth, and character and is the perfect homely escape from busy lives. It is furnished in a bright contemporary comfortable style. Retaining the beautiful exposed oak beams ledge and brace doors and open fire. There is a idyllic, quaint private enclosed garden with spectacular country views. This is an ideal romantic get away stay for a couple, or a couple with a child. You will be swooned away with the charm and Tranquility. Surrounded by stunning walks, within easy distance to Salisbury plain and Westbury White Horse, where you can enjoy plenty of walking, cycling, bird watching, amazing views, paragliding, and amazing views. 100 Yards from the cottage is a lovely Ward Winning village pub which serves fantastic food and is very popular. House rules Check in after 3pm The host does not allow parties or smoking Check out: 10.00 am Cleaner will arrive at 10.15 am to start change overs. One very well behaved non malting dog only. Please ask before booking My cleaner has allergies so I only allow non malting dogs. Parking outside cottage and plenty of off-road parking around the village Non drive through village so lovely and peaceful
LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT Longleat is a lovely place to visit and Longleat safari. Only 3 miles away Glastonbury Tour is worth a visit Stonehenge Near to Wells smallest medieval city that has been featured in a host of TV and Hollywood films including Hot Fuzz. Wells has been voted the UK’S top destination to visit. Wells Bishops Palace and Wells Cathedral are highly recommended. Visit Wells market on a Wednesday and Saturday every week. Cheddar Gorge and Cheddar Caves- visit Lion Rock Cafe in Cheddar award winning Wookey Hole Caves is a great place to visit if you have young children Lacock village definitely worth a visit and Castle Combe village Shearwater Lake Heavens Gate Alfred's Tower National Trust - Stourhead is a beautiful place to visit Bradford On Avon - the Roman town- restaurants, shops, inns, river, canal and amazing local history, canoeing, kayaking, nature walks, artisan market, Bruton is a village on the way to Wells. visit The Newt in Bruton also some of the great restaurants and pubs. The Newt in Somerset Treat yourself to a pampering day at Aqua Sana Center Parcs Longleat, you can book to visit the Aqua Sans for the day and book treatments. Whilst there you can explore Center Parcs grounds and visit restaurants, and pool. ONLY 3 MILES AWAY FROM MY COTTAGE City of Bath a must visit, absolutely beautiful city. Frome has lots of unique shops and nice cafes, Catherine hill in From is where the little shops are. I highly recommend that you visit Frome Artisan independent market which is on the first Sunday of every month. Event dates: The Frome Independent ~ Visit The Cheese and Grain in Frome have lots of events/live bands etc. Check out Treat yourself to a pampering day at Aqua Sana Center Parcs Longleat, you can book to visit the Aqua Sauna for the day and book treatments. Whilst there you can explore Center Parcs grounds and visit restaurants, and pool. ONLY 3 MILES AWAY FROM MY COTTAGE
