In the lounge, a double sofa-bed can accommodate 2 extra guests plus there is an extra single Z-bed if required.   Our Ground Floor apartment is situated within a short walk from the heart of Sherborne with it's 8th century Abbey, two Castles, Shops, Restaurants, Bistros and Coffee Houses. Waitrose and Sainsbury's can be found nearby. The renowned Schools of Sherborne are also close by. This wheelchair friendly (via rear courtyard) spacious ground floor apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay.  Its fully modernised accommodation includes a delightful Bedroom with King-size Bed, Luxurious Bathroom and spacious Kitchen/Living room with all the latest appliances including washing machine and tumble dryer. The Lounge offers comfy Sofas and a large 4K Smart TV. Free WiFi internet, Netflix and a Bluetooth Speaker. Under-floor Heating throughout. Sherborne is a friendly market town steeped in history.  The beautiful surrounding countryside has many walks and places for you to explore with local National Trust properties including Montecute House, Barrington Court, Stourhead, Kingston Lacy and Mapperton House. The area is very much Thomas Hardy's Wessex.  Other local attractions include Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton, Tank Museum at Bovington, and the wonderful Jurassic coastline with Lyme Regis and Weymouth approx 60 mins away.
