This is one of the best b&bs I have stayed in. Very friendly, clean and well run. Breakfast was the best.

In the heart of Whitley Bay, this traditional family-run guesthouse offers great prices, comfort, good service and free Wi-Fi, alongside a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. On a quiet avenue near the seafront, overlooking Whitley Park, the Park Lodge is just minutes from Whitley Bay's beach, the indoor pool, the center of town and the metro station. The convenient location and easy access to public transportation also make the guesthouse a good base for visiting historic Northumbria and all areas of Newcastle and Tyne and Wear. Established for 30 years, the Park Lodge continues to offer quality service at reasonable prices. All of the rooms have cable TVs, hairdryers and hot drink facilities. The bathrooms all have wet room style showers.
