Located in the heart of Wigtown (Scotland's book town), the cottage has been sympathetically renovated to expose the original stone construction. Nestled within a row of similar cottages, the cottage is deceptively large inside. On the ground floor, you will discover the cosy sitting room, ideal for family games on the Wii or relaxing in front of the tv in the evening. There is a ground floor cloakroom for convenience and a charming fully equipped kitchen with dining table ideal for family meals, a quick lunch or starting the day with a relaxed breakfast. Leading on from the kitchen is a large conservatory, the perfect suntrap, it is a lovely area to relax and unwind with a book or to recharge after a day walking or cycling. The conservatory looks onto the patio area with outdoor seating, beyond is a large well maintained garden. On the first floor you will find the king and double bedrooms, both spacious with plenty of storage, the comfortable beds will ensure a great night sleep. The first floor main bathroom is light and modern with fantastic shower. On the second floor is a large attic bedroom with 2 single beds. The cottage is both charming and spacious and will quickly become your home from home. There is ample free on-street parking directly outside the property.

Situated in Dumfries & Galloway, southwest Scotland, the beautiful pastoral landscape of the region boasts rugged coastline, woodland and forest, moorland and mountain and is a rich cultural melting pot. The annual Wigtown Book Festival offers more than 200 events for adults, children and young people including literature, music, film, theatre, arts and crafts. The festival takes place for 10 days each autumn.
