Whitstable town has been famous for some time for its Oysters, they play a large part in Whitstables commerce and culture. Although with it being a seaside town it is not just about the oysters, it has a range of excellent fish and chip shops and restaurants which use most of the locally caught fresh fish. You can even enjoy a day sailing aboard the Thames barge which is the one of the oldest remaining barges left in Britain built in 1892. The town also holds a thriving pub scene with a handful of them offering live music over the weekend. There is also a selection of museums and galleries across the Whitstable high street. Getting around Whitstable Station is within 0.5 miles away with direct services to London Kings Cross St Pancras. On main High Street which is approx 200 yards away from the property there is multiple bus stops. There is also free parking on premises.
