Neighborhood info

St Monans is a charming fishing village on the East Neuk in the Kingdom of Fife. With traditional fishing boats arriving in the harbour and surrounded by farmland, there is an abundance of fantastic cafes and restaurants nearby. A few minutes walk from the house is the wonderful East Pier Smokehouse. A few minutes to the West is the excellent Craig Millar, 2 AA rosettes listed restaurant and a few steps away is the lovely Giddy Gannett café. Within a few miles are two fine dining restaurants- The Cellar and Peat Inn. There is an abundance of good fish and chip restaurants in the East Neuk. David Laurie Fish Merchant located in the village, selling fresh fish daily. The award winning Ardross Farm shop less than 2 miles away if you prefer to cook yourself. We are 20 minutes drive to St Andrews and within easy travelling distance to Edinburgh, Dundee and Stirling.
