Location was perfect - quiet but central to shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The train station is also walkable. The furniture was very comfortable and the house was decorated really tastefully. It was also very clean. The friendly owner met us with the keys.

Property info

The contemporary ground floor is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen (sink, dishwasher, fridge, 3.5kg washing machine, electric cooker with 4-ring hob, oven and grille, extract and microwave) as well as dining and living areas with TV and Wi-Fi. There is a wet-room with shower, basin, toilet, mirror and heated towel rail. There is an iron and ironing board. A steep staircase leads to a comfortable main bedroom with king-size bed, dressing/single bedroom , and toilet. Outside is a small patio with table and chairs. Our cottage is in the heart of the market town of Farnham yet it's surprisingly quiet. Just around the corner is a large choice of artisan cafes and individual shops. The whole of the town centre can be accessed within less than 10 minutes on foot. A two-minute walk in the other direction is the River Wey and the beginning of a circular water meadows walk. There are many places of interest to visit such as the castle, the museum and a pottery. Farnham is a designated craft town with many related venues. The station is about a 10-minute walk and the trains to London runs every half hour and take about 1 hour.

Farnham is a delightful market town on the Surrey/Hampshire boarder. Mentioned in the Doomsday book of 1086. It has many places of interest to visit such as is castle and museum .Farnham offers pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes as well as easy access to beautiful countryside. The train to London runs every half hour and takes about 1 hour.
