This property was a fantastic choice for us. After a transatlantic trip we were delighted to pull into the driveway parking spot reserved for us and discover not only clean sheets but a very clean apartment with a thoughtful guest basket for breakfast the next day including a bottle of local wine and local eggs. The dining room table expanded to fit 10 adults comfortably as well as the living room space with rotating living room chairs that the 5-12 year olds in our 17 member family reunion loved spinning around. The clever design of a living room balcony over the kitchen meant parents could keep an ear on the youthful pandemonium upstairs as all the cousins had a chance get to know each other. Everything was perfect for a family gathering. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook for special diets. Thank you Lynda and her team for a beautiful venue for our treasured time with family. It was perfect.

Geoff and I feel privileged to have been able to call Sutton Baynham Farm our home for the last 29 years. It’s a very special spot, even if we say so ourselves, in the beautiful Royal Forest of Dean - surrounded by rolling hills clad in woodland with lovely views. Our guests tell us we have created a lovely retreat from their busy lives and we take great satisfaction that our work over the years has achieved this. We work in the business on a day-to-day basis – you’ll probably have spoken to me when making your booking – and we manage a small team to strive to create a truly wonderful holiday experience for you. Originally from farming and countryside stock, we feel strongly about doing our bit to help protect this beautiful area and the wider planet for future generations. We have five grandchildren and are concerned for their future, so we have installed as much as we can to reduce both our own and guests’ carbon footprint, during their stay in this idyllic rural location.

A converted Chapel, originally built in 1864, makes Pew Corner very 'Country House' living, and the largest and most elegant of our Chapel properties. It offers such fabulous accommodation for a short break or longer stay with the convenience of having the small town of Cinderford and its amenities on your doorstep.
