Simon was a great host and had a lot of information about the area. The room was exactly as pictured. A mattress on a low platform, but for a single traveler, who was out to see the sights, it was perfect. There are cats, and there is a flight of stairs to reach the room.

I had a view of the Tor from this room and Simon was joy to talk with! Excellent location a easy (for me) walking distance from all the towns highlights, Chalice well, White spring, the Tor hill and main High St. is just blocks away.

I arrived when the town hall was very busy and the location really helped. I can't complain. It was clean and tidy. I sat outside in a lovely garden. I was welcomed by Simon who was a genuine person. The experience was good.

Simon, the host, was very friendly, and so was the little dog. Room basic, but very clean. Lovely, welcoming house and great location as it was just 5 minutes walk to Glastonbury centre and I could park my car nearby.

This was booked for an older gentleman friend. My friend Dave said: Simon was a very nice, friendly host. The location was great for meeting up with Dave's mates in town. Breakfast was not needed at Pheonix Rising 2 this time. The futon in the room had a memory foam topper so although a little low (as they are!) it was very comfortable. Simon had left some little binoculars in the room and you can see Glastonbury Tor from the window, which was a nice little touch especially as my friend could not have managed to see it up close!

The host is a friendly person, super easy to talk to and made you feel instantly at home. I felt at home. It was as it stated on the tin! The shower was great! Facilities clean. Up stairs landing bit smaller than I expected but despite having to share it felt like an en-suite because I didn't bump into anyone. The room was as I expected and the house has a homey and cosy feel. Throw in a good size guest fridge, plenty of free breakfast if needed, a great host and a gorgeous dog that welcomes you back and it's a winning combination.
