Enter your private garden, step through your private conservatory and into your comfortably furnished, peaceful and private guest suite retreat close to the very heart of Ilkley. There is space to move and relax with your own conservatory looking out into a private garden. The sitting room is very spacious for two people, with a three seater sofa as well as an easy chair with footstool. In the bedroom is a King size bed and a chest of draws for your clothes. Choose a book from the library and savour the quiet of the seating in your own garden. Although there is a Kitchenette which has a two ring hob, a microwave, a fridge and a sink in a compact area it is more suitable for light meals. (Please see pictures) Extra touches by caring host added to make your stay special.
I have heard myself described as easy going and friendly. As a successful writer and sculptress I surround myself with art and this is reflected in the guest suit. Having travelled myself I try to give my guests what I desire when I am on the move, a space that is comfortable and your own as long as you are here and I believe the extras make a difference, coffee always available, extra pillows, the little touches make the difference. I hope you enjoy your stay
It is a 15 mins flat walk alone a leafy road to the towns very centre or a 5 min walk the other way to Ben Rhydding cafe, veg and butcher shop, hairdressers and train station . The area where the house is situated is a quiet residential corner with on site parking. Ilkley is packed with cafe, shops and places of interest. There are walks by the river, through a bluebell wood or up on the windswept moors. Surrounding Ilkley are many interesting towns and places, Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate, with art galleries and shopping. The market town of Skipton with a castle and a canal with river cruises. Os head over the moors to Stump Cross Caverns for a day out, or Malham Tarn, the list is endless.
