Situated in the heart of the charming village of Charlbury, Oxfordshire, this gorgeous beamed cottage is perfect for families and friends that are looking to escape to a tranquil area within the beautiful Cotswolds and within easy reach of Oxford City Centre. With a selection of picturesque walking trails, 3 great pubs and a deli on your doorstep, there’s plenty going on. The cottage has been carefully designed to give a feeling of timelessness and reassuring calm, a retreat from the big world.
We are Elvy Living, three friends who love travelling, meeting new people and embracing different cultures. After using Airbnb for our own travels for over a decade, we decided to curate living spaces that we ourselves would like to have when we are on the road with our own families or friends. We love hosting people from all walks of life and opening our doors to others who value comfort, coziness and distinctive decor. Looking forward to welcoming you to one of our properties soon where we hope you will create fond memories of your stay! Charlbury is an official Cotswold gateway town. It is located within the ancient boundaries of Wychwood forest and is an ideal starting point for a country walk and to explore the wonderful Oxfordshire Cotswolds and beyond. Charlbury Train station is a short 8 minute walk from the cottage making it the perfect place to commute to without a car, with direct trains from London, Oxford and Reading. There is also a bus stop 1 minute away from the cottage which takes you to neighbouring villages like Chipping Norton, Woodstock and to the city of Oxford.
