In a peaceful, secluded valley on the outskirts of Ilfracombe and convenient for Woolacombe, this splendid 18th-century country house is surrounded by gardens, woodland and streams. In a quiet location, Score Valley Country House is 1 mile (1 mi) from Ilfracombe; a 5-minute drive or a pleasant 20-minute walk through Bicclescombe Park to the High Street. Hidden from the road in its own valley behind a band of tall trees, the location makes it a great base from which to explore the vast sandy beaches of North Devon's golden coast or the wonders of Exmoor. The attractive, tranquil grounds surround the hotel’s car park, which is free for guests. All of the spacious and comfortable rooms are individually furnished and equipped with all the necessary comforts and facilities. Score Valley Country House takes great pride in its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and locally sourced home-cooked food.
