Beadnell is a lovely friendly place.
Beadnell is a lovely friendly place. Very laid back, quiet and with great places to eat and drink. We ate at the Craster Arms. Food is excellent but be sure to get there early as it’s mega busy. Staff are very friendly. If you like walking it’s worth going to Seahouses, about 3 miles and you can catch the bus back.
Nothing to dislike, would go back if ever that way again.

Lovely and quiet at this time of year. Beaches, coastal paths and dunes amazing for walking - very dog friendly cafes and pubs - The Landing, Craster Arms and Beadnell Towers. If you want shops, easy drive to Seahouses.

Beadnell is now a mainly tourist village, with a lot of new houses and more being built. But this is because it is such a good location, right next to the sea with the coast path, the wide and long sandy beaches and tiny old harbour. for a small places there are quite a few places to eat, and a shop.
It is very popular with people with dogs, and kite-surfers!

Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer.
Beadnell is a busy destination during the summer. It has good beaches, several coffee shops and restaurants to suit most people. The Courtyard Coffee shop was particularly handy for a quick bite to eat. A Fish and Chip van is parked near the village shop but you would need to check opening times. Very good local village shop which is clean and well stocked. Food, Gifts cards, Ice cream, drinks, newspapers magazines wine and beer. You can walk between the village and the harbour. There is a caravan park and several chalets to rent out. There are a number of places to park but at weekends and peak times it’s a little more tricky. A short car ride away is Seahouses and in addition Beadnell is a good base to explore the Northumbrian coast.
Really tastefully decorated rooms. Ours was in an annexe outside the hotel but was perfect for letting the dog out without having to trail through the hotel. Dogs also allowed in bar area. Maria on reception was lovely and very efficient. It was busy for meals, with a lot of non residents, but food (eve meal and breakfast) was hot and delicious. Location is tucked away in a quiet part of the village with a lovely walk down across fields onto the huge sands of Beadnell Bay.
Ideal location in the heart of beadnell, ticked the boxes for us we wanted a quiet relaxing weekend. Very quiet at night, parking outside ample for 2 cars. Hotel directly behind us serving excellent Sunday dinners and craster arms literally a 10m away. We took 2 dogs with us and was ideal, as back garden is paved and enclosed so they could go out and play in safety without the thought of bringing dirt back in the house
Great location in Beadnell with a nice quiet room in a courtyard area. Lovely clean room with ensuite. Fridge was also available with a small freezer box. Great staff who looked after us on the visit, ensuring everything was clean and well stocked.
The bedroom and en suite shower were very spacious and well appointed. The breakfasts were superb and the place is a few minutes walk to several pubs and eateries. Have stayed before and will stay again. The Beadnell beach is well worth a walk.
The room was comfy and cosy, looked exactly like the photos, good parking facilities, really quiet and peaceful. Given the prices of the other hotels in the area around Newton hall this was great value for money
Beautiful hotel, adhering to Covid precautions. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, food was beautiful at dinner and breakfast. Lovely location within walking distance to a great beach.
Comfortable Hotel in a good location, only a short walk to the beach and seafront. Excellent breakfast and warm cosy room. Nice lounge bar offering good food at a reasonable price.
House was lovely with everything we needed, location was excellent for fabulous beach views and walks. Very clean and comfortable! Will defo stay again if visiting Beadnell.
