Room size and access to outlets, bedding comfortable and clean. Property included resident cat named Magic who was a cheeky delight to be greeted by when leaving and arriving at the property. Hosts both very warm, attentive and approachable. Shared bathroom was extravagant and included the patent-pending Yorkshire bidet (last part is humour, property includes a bidet in the bathroom).

This is a beautiful grade II listed Victorian home, set over 3 floors with a large garden. Each room has original Victorian features and has been decorated to a high standard to enhance the uniqueness of the property. This is definitely the place to stay if you would like to experience a grand house with a warm family welcome. It is within easy reach of Huddersfield town centre and near the M62 for travel to Leeds, Manchester, Halifax and surrounding areas, ideal for those visiting for events or wishing to explore the local area.
I am a teacher by profession and currently work freelance in the arts industry and run a small business. I mainly work from home, when the cat allows!! I enjoy travelling and am currently fulfilling some bucket list challenges and also enjoy health and fitness. We have a very friendly cat called Magic who is usually around to greet guests - please let us know of any allergies and we can make sure he is not near you or your accommodation.
The surrounding area is quiet with beautiful views across Huddersfield, we have many local attractions within walking distance. There is the nearby greenhead park which provides a lovely walk, and has plenty of events throughout the year. Huddersfield town is a short 15 minute walk away and provides lots of entertainment such as bars, restaurants and shopping.
