The pet friendly homes are by York’s walls. Perfect for 16 people - 17th & 18th person incurs additional fee per stay. We are a 10 min walk from the station (parking available) and a 7 min stroll in the centre of York. Please note we do not accept stag or hen parties, the house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood and is set up for families and groups of friends looking for a lovely quiet place to stay in the centre of York. All houses have: - A living area with a SMART TV (Netflix, Britbox, Freeview), books and board games. - A kitchen and dining area + a dining table that seats up to 6 (high chair on request) and a laundry area with washing machine, iron and drying rack. - A bathroom with separate shower and bath - A courtyard with outside seating - All houses have 3 bedrooms, 109 and 107 is 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Spencer House has 3 double bedrooms In addition 107 Nunnery Lane has: - A cinema and games room (with board games and a foosball table) - A wood burner fire in the living room In addition 109 has: - A pool table and games area In addition Spencer House has: - A separate toilet
Hi am Claire. I am a freelance theatre producer and a stay at home mum. I love travel, going on family day trips, walking in the Yorkshire countryside, cycling, shopping, great food, fab coffee shops and cake which is why we live in York!. I am just two minutes away and on hand if you need anything. As a York local I know some great places to go and things to do if your here with friends or with family. When I travel I look for comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great shower, soft towels and exceptionally clean house and this is what we offer our guests.
The houses are just a 5 min walk into central York with all its tourist attractions, restaurants and shops. It is also located off ‘Bishy Road’ (voted Britain’s best high street) with its independent shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and delis. Bishy Road recently beat 230 contenders to be crowned Britains Best High Street. Its packed with fantastic independent business where you can shop and eat. If you want to cook dinner then you cant go wrong with either Fruitique or Millys for great fruit and veg and MK Butchers for fantastic meat and home made pies. Anything else you need can be bought from the Sainsburys Local or Costcutter thats open till late. If you fancy a meal out then Bishy Road has everything including British, Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants - and all a 2 min walk from the townhouses and you can use our House of York Craft Savvy Card to save up to 25% off the full price of ALL food and drink you buy from many of Yorks independent bars cafes and restaurants that are within a 15 minute walk from the house. But dont just listen to us..... The Guardian says - ‘a Goldilocks neighbourhood where everything is just right’
